A few pages later in my notebook, I continued to brainstorm the Major Arcana for my index card tarot deck.
On this page, I really like the concept I came up with for the Chariot. (I did something a bit similar several years later when Rosy and I were light-heartedly picking Pokemon for a Pokemon-themed tarot deck and I put Girafarig as the Chariot.
While Justice came out cool here, it might be leaning a bit too figurative to fit in with the rest of the deck, so I might want to try again later.
The design of the hermit here draws a lot from the RWS card - I love the star lantern on that illustration. I also wanted to reference the Tumnus room from Spelunx.
I definitely wasn't happy with this attempt to design of the Wheel of Fortune yet, and tried again a bit later.
For Strength, although I like the drawing of the chimera I made, it might be too figurative to fit with the rest of the deck.
I do like the butterfly for Death.
