This is actually my first entry in your guestbook, and I have to say, I absolutely LOVE the guestbook design! It feels so original and different from the usual guestbooks you see, which makes it fit the site so nicely. And now you’ve already written a second entry in mine aaaaah.
SO. The new design for Rigelatin is MEGA COOL. I loooove interactive little gimmicks and games (I mean, I put cursor effects basically everywhere lol), but even aside from that, I really love the whole layout and how everything is put together. And there’s FINALLY a guestbook!!! I’m genuinely so happy about that. :D
I’m also really looking forward to seeing your future projects! Out of your shrines, Copycat is probably my favourite. I’m not as much into Pokémon anymore, but back when I was (okay, I was MUCH younger then), I especially loved the Mewtwo movie. Interestingly, I think I understand and empathize with Mewtwo’s motivations much more now than I did back then. It hits quite differently when you’re older, haha.
Anyway, I’m really happy to have your link back, and thank you so much for adding my site to your links out! I’m excited to see what you’ll work on next! :D
P.S. Denise, I’m really interested in your stairwell script! I’d love to see it whenever you’re ready to share it!

This was one of those layouts that just kinda happened in like, two days from beginning to end, and I'm not entirely even sure why. According to the development screenshots it looks like it was a consequence of the image choice and position. ...man last month was wild, I'm already doing archeology of my motivations...
And yeah, people don't do :focus effects enough!! Why not? Interactive bits and what they can be used to communicate are my favorite part of web design...
Also similarly - I was pleased to see that this guestbook script is very easily skinnable and so the base template stuff is really just a suggestion and a frame, I can overlay my own nonsense on it all as I please -- not that I need to tell you, your guestbook was the main inspiration for me to even make mine :D
